What is a UI/UX Developer?

Often, UX/UI designers are compared with web developers thinking that they are the same. However, there are slight differences between them. Web development is more associated with coding, while UX/UI is more associated with designing.

UX/UI designers play an important role in web development, as 94% of visitors abandon a website that does not have a good design. It is the first thing that attracts people to stay longer on a website or click.

Suppose we have to simply point out the differences between web developers and UX/UI designers. In that case, we must say that UX/UI designers plan and design the interface of the software or interface. Web developers implement those designs using programming languages or coding.

The major responsibility of UX/UI designers is to identify the problems that people face in their everyday life while using a system. They want to develop a website or software that is as convenient as possible to use and looks appealing.

UX/UI designers do wireframe and prototyping. Using these, they showcase their plan to clients, developers, and designers.  This helps others visualize the final product. after that, they make sure the final product is the same as the final excepted output.

For example, imagine you want to build a table. How long will the table be, will it fit in your room? Will it be easy to move around the table? Is the height of the table comfortable for use? How will the table design look? What material and color the table will be in? – these are the things that a UX/UI designer will investigate, analyze, and provide a solution.

On the other hand, the web developer will be in charge of building the table. He will cut wood or other material into pieces and connect them to build the table.

UX/UI designer work hand in hand with web developers. UX/UI designers plan and organize things, and web developers execute them. Therefore, their duty is to make web developers understand their plan and vision. Additionally, ensure that the solution they came up with is the best possible solution for the problem.
