Shopify and WooCommerce are undoubtedly two of the largest ecommerce platforms. While Shopify caters to over 800,000 online shops, WooCommerce demands that it is the most famous. Thus, when you need to use one, you might get confused about which one is the best.

However, rather than focusing on which one is the market leader, you should focus on which one is best for you. Hence, I am going to guide you through both platforms. Hopefully, after that, you will be choosing which one is the best for you.

Shopify

I must say, Shopify is a compact solution. Wondering why? That is because it will generate your online store, secure payments, and supervise your inventory. You will get all this from one online space.

The best part is you will not have to worry about any technical altitude. I must say Shopify is exceptionally user-friendly. To run it, you will not need separate software or anything. You can get down with business immediately.

They offer a coherent pricing plan, and you can pick one without any hassle. Besides, their payment procedure is also convenient. However, like any other thing in the world, Shopify also has some drawbacks.

As the platform takes care of almost everything itself, you will not have authority over everything. Your expenses might increase with add-ons and assimilations. You cannot wait for your costs to go high until you go higher. Besides, promoting plans are limited.

WooCommerce:

It is free and open-source software (FOSS) assembled for WordPress. As it is open-source, you can tailor your store as you wish and build extensions for the browser. Thus, WooCommerce allows you to use the Content Management System for running your online shop.

You will get the full grip of your store with a lower expense. Thus, if you are starting an online store, WooCommerce provides beneficial options. However, the drawback of WooCommerce is you will have to manage software.

Therefore, you will have to learn how to use it. Learning software might be a challenge for people who are not very tech-friendly.

Final Words:

In a nutshell, if you are looking for a solution that is going to be completely worry-free, Shopify is your best choice. However, if you are eager to have your store’s full authority at an effective expense, WooCommerce is your option. But you must be keen to learn to use the software or be tech-savvy in this case. I hope after reading this, you will be able to pick which ecommerce platform is best for you.
