Position Overview
VISER X is looking for a Mid Level Software Engineer who thrives on building, customizing, and scaling powerful software systems. We want someone who loves crafting high-performance applications, enjoys working with modern frameworks and integrations, and takes pride in delivering clean, impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to define project requirements and deliver new features.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across various devices.
Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize applications for performance and security.
Integrate third-party services, tools, and RESTful APIs into applications.
Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Perform any additional relevant tasks as assigned by management.
Key Requirements
Proficiency in PHP 7+/8+, OOP principles, and MVC architecture.
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and writing complex queries.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integrations.
Knowledge of front-end technologies like React, Vue.js and Blade templates.
Understanding of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and in a team, even under pressure.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in CSE, CSIT, CSC, or a related field from a reputed institution.
Educational qualifications may be relaxed for highly skilled candidates with proven expertise.
Experience Requirement
At least 2 years of professional experience in PHP development.
Strong hands-on experience with Laravel (8/9/10+).
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
