Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Shopify App Developer who has strong expertise in building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify apps. If you are passionate about creating high-performance eCommerce solutions and have hands-on experience with Shopify API integrations, we want to meet you!
Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain private and public Shopify apps.
Work with Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs to build scalable features.
Build custom app extensions and ensure smooth integration with Shopify stores.
Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate app functionalities with themes and UX.
Optimize app performance, security, and data flow.
Troubleshoot, debug, and deploy app updates.
Maintain documentation and follow best coding practices.
Any other relevant task assigned by the management.
Key Requirements
Strong proficiency in Node.js, React.js, or Next.js.
Experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and OAuth implementation.
Good knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Familiarity with MySQL/MongoDB and server-side development.
Knowledge of webhooks, Shopify CLI, Polaris, and app extensions.
Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, app store policies, and technologies.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Capable of performing effectively under pressure.
Skills Requirements
Experience with Liquid templates.
Knowledge of AWS, Docker, or CI/CD.
Prior experience developing Shopify public apps listed on the Shopify App Store.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in CSE, CSIT, CSC, or a related field from a reputed institution.
Educational qualifications may be relaxed for highly skilled candidates with proven expertise.
Experience Requirement
Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in Shopify app development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex coding tasks.
Experience working in Agile environments to meet deadlines and deliver milestones.
